Backflow Training teaches students to conduct backflow prevention assembly testing in the state of Tennessee. Through proper hands-on training with backflow preventers, we teach students to test these assemblies properly. We utilize only the best instruction techniques because we value the importance of our students and the positive impact they have on the community.
To receive certification to test backflow assemblies, there is a required written and practical exam that we provide training for within our program. We provide both 3 & 5-needle valve kits for students to borrow, courtesy of Watts and Accu Gage, for those who do not already have one of their own. We provide this for hands on practice in preparing for and taking the states practical exam.
Since prior plumbing experience is not necessary for admittance to our certification program, we help people understand plumbing to test backflow prevention assemblies properly. A prior understanding or background in plumbing does help, though it is not a requirement to receive successful certification to perform this testing.
The experienced instructors we provide come from an extensive background in backflow equipment and testing. Throughout our program, we familiarize our students with devices such as Reduced Pressure Backflow Preventers(RP) and the Double Check Valve Assembly (DCVA) as well as general knowledge of systems that will greatly help when testing.
We make sure that the students we prepare for certification are ready to tackle backflow issues and test backflow prevention assemblies without any hesitation or lack of confidence. Our trained instructors are here to help students reach their goal, regardless of experience and knowledge.
